1. How the Earnings Program Works

iLekhak shares platform revenue with creators whose content drives real engagement. The more your posts are read, appreciated with Pens, and shared, the more you earn.

Who is eligible: Any verified creator with a published post history can participate in the Earnings Program. You do not need a minimum follower count to start earning — what matters is the quality and engagement of your content.

How earnings are calculated: Earnings are based on a combination of factors including total views on your posts, the number of Pens your posts receive, reader retention (how long people spend reading your content), and overall contribution to the platform. iLekhak uses a quality-weighted model — a smaller number of genuinely engaged readers is worth more than a large number of quick bounces.

2. Getting Paid

Wallet All your earnings accumulate in your iLekhak Wallet, accessible from the Creator Studio dashboard. You can check your current balance and earnings history at any time.

Withdrawals Once your balance reaches the minimum payout threshold, you can request a withdrawal. Go to Creator Studio › Wallet › Withdraw and follow the steps to transfer your earnings. Ensure your payout details are correctly set up in Settings before requesting a withdrawal.

Payout methods: Available payout methods are listed in your Wallet settings. Make sure your account information is accurate to avoid delays.

3. Maximising Your Earnings

Publish consistently Regular publishing keeps your profile active in the feed and builds a returning readership. Aim for a publishing schedule you can sustain rather than sporadic bursts.

Write for depth, not just length iLekhak rewards genuine engagement. A well-crafted 800-word piece that readers finish and Pen will outperform a 3,000-word piece they abandon halfway through.

Use strong titles and cover images Your title and cover image determine whether readers click in the first place. Use the Title Generator in the AI Assistant to test ideas, and always upload a quality cover image.

Grow your follower base Followers see your posts automatically in their feed. Engage with other writers, respond to comments on your posts, and share your work to grow your audience over time.
