Rules & Policies

Our guidelines ensure a respectful, safe, and creative environment for everyone on iLekhak. Following these rules is mandatory for all members. Violations can result in content removal, suspension, or permanent account termination.

1. Community Standards

Originality : Only publish work that you own or have the legal right to share. Do not copy, plagiarise, or republish content from other writers or websites without explicit permission. iLekhak has an Authenticity Report tool that scans content for originality — repeated violations will result in account action. If you are writing fiction, creative non-fiction, or essays inspired by others' work, that is fine — but direct copying is not permitted.

Respectful Conduct : Be civil and respectful in all your interactions on iLekhak — in comments, in responses to other posts, and in all community spaces. Harassment, personal attacks, bullying, hate speech, and targeted abuse of any kind will not be tolerated. This applies to all users regardless of their background, identity, or opinions.

Prohibited Content : The following types of content are strictly not allowed on iLekhak: content that violates applicable laws; content that promotes, glorifies, or facilitates violence or harm to any person or group; content that sexualises minors in any way; content designed to defraud, scam, or mislead other users; spam or artificially generated content posted in bulk for the purpose of gaming the algorithm; content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

Authentic Engagement : Do not use bots, fake accounts, or any automated tools to inflate your view counts, Pen counts, followers, or earnings. iLekhak monitors for artificial engagement and accounts found doing this will be permanently removed from the platform and the Earnings Program.

2. Earnings Policies

Accurate information : If you are participating in the Earnings Program or the Royal Rewards program, you must provide accurate and truthful information for your account and payout details. Providing false information to obtain earnings is a serious violation and may result in legal action in addition to account termination.

Payout rules : Withdrawals are only processed when your balance meets the minimum threshold. iLekhak reserves the right to withhold or reverse payments if there is evidence of fraud, artificial engagement, or policy violations. All payout decisions made in response to policy violations are final.

Content quality requirements : To remain eligible for the Earnings Program, your content must meet iLekhak's quality standards. Mass-produced, AI-generated content published without meaningful human input and editing is not eligible for earnings. The program rewards authentic human creativity and genuine reader engagement.

3. Enforcement

Content removal : Posts that violate these policies will be removed without notice. You may receive a warning depending on the severity of the violation.

Account suspension : Repeated or serious violations will result in a temporary or permanent suspension of your account. Suspended accounts lose access to the Earnings Program and Royal Rewards.

Appeals : If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can appeal through the Contact Support page. Include as much detail as possible about the post or action in question. The moderation team will review your appeal and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
